Wakato is the merchant of record. Per-sale rate: Pro 3.9% + 30¢, Business 3.4% + 30¢.

  • +0.5%: Tax collection and remittance, only on sales where we collect tax for you.
  • +1.5%: International cards: the card network's own surcharge.
  • $15: Chargebacks: the processor's dispute fee, returned if you win.
  • $5 min: The smallest sale we can process.

Is Wakato really free to start?

Yes. The Free plan has one space, a website, contacts, forms and an agent; you only pay for the AI work and calls you use.

What does an agent cost to run?

Only what it uses: AI models, calls, texts and its computer time while it's working, at cost, from your wallet. Each agent can have a daily, weekly or monthly spending cap.

Do you charge per user?

No. Each plan includes members by plan size, and AI is billed by use, never per seat.

Can I change plans later?

Yes, upgrade or downgrade at any time. Paying yearly gives you two months free.

What does it cost to sell on Wakato?

Selling comes with Pro (3.9% + 30¢ per sale) and Business (3.4% + 30¢ per sale). Wakato is the merchant of record: we charge the buyer, hold the money until they get what they paid for, and handle sales tax and disputes.
