What is webinar software?

Webinar software runs a live presentation for an audience: people sign up, watch, ask questions and answer polls. Wakato's webinars add slides, products sold in the room, a practice run with a coach report and a replay, next to your contacts, shop and email.

Are webinars like Zoom meetings?

Not quite. In a meeting everyone can talk and share; in a webinar the hosts and speakers present while viewers watch, chat, ask questions and answer polls. Wakato has both: meetings for your team and clients, webinars for an audience.

Is there a way to record a webinar?

Yes. Wakato records your live webinar and gives people who signed up a replay with a recap. Meetings can be recorded on Pro and Business too, and every meeting is transcribed by default.

Can I run automated webinars?

No. Wakato webinars are live only: you present in real time, with slides, polls and questions. People who missed it can watch the recording as a replay afterwards.

Is there free video conferencing with no time limit?

Wakato's Free plan includes meetings of up to 40 minutes with 4 people. Pro ($49 a month) allows 5-hour meetings with 25 people, and Business ($99 a month) 12-hour meetings with 100 people.

How many people can watch a webinar?

Up to 100 viewers on Wakato Pro at $49 a month, and up to 1,000 on Business at $99 a month. Viewers join from any browser through their own seat link, without a Wakato account.

Can I join meetings from my phone?

Yes. You can start and join Wakato meetings in the app for iPhone and Android, and guests join from any browser. Hosting a webinar is done on the web.
