What is lead enrichment?

Lead enrichment adds missing facts to a lead, such as a person's job title, company, work email or phone, and the company's size, industry and website. On Wakato your agent searches and enriches leads through paid data services and saves them to your contacts, paid per use from your wallet.

How does lead enrichment work?

You start from a name, an email, a company or a search such as “marketing managers at 50-person agencies in Texas”. The service matches it against its data and returns what it knows. On Wakato a search shows people without their full contact details, and revealing one person's contacts is a separate, paid step.

How can I generate my own leads?

Ask your Wakato agent for the leads you want: it can search people and companies by title, industry, size and place, pull local businesses from Google Maps with the emails found on their websites, verify each email, and import the list into your contacts, ready for a campaign.

Is there a web scraping API?

Yes. Wakato's services include web search, finding similar pages and reading a page's clean text, plus social profiles, posts and comments. Your agents use them as tools, and your code calls them through Wakato's API with a space key, paid per use from the wallet.

Can ChatGPT do web scraping?

ChatGPT can browse and read some pages, but it isn't built to collect data in bulk. On Wakato, an agent uses dedicated search and page-reading services, saves what it finds to your tables and contacts, and can also work on any website with its own browser.

How are the services priced?

Per use, from your Wakato wallet, with no subscription to each data provider. Some services have a flat price per call; others are charged by what each call really used, and the price shown is the most a call can cost. Transcription is charged by the minute.

Can I limit which services my agents use?

Yes. Each Wakato space allows every service or only the ones you pick. When an agent needs a service the space hasn't allowed, it asks you in its chat with a card showing what it does and what it costs, and each agent's spending cap applies to services too.
