Run

Wallet and plansa plan for what you get, a wallet for what you use.

Wakato has three plans (Free, Pro at $49 a month and Business at $99 a month, or yearly for the price of ten months) plus a prepaid wallet that pays for usage such as AI, texts, emails and agent computers. You can give each space its own budget and set spending caps on spaces and agents.

Wakato is paid for in two parts. Your plan sets what your account can have: how many spaces, members, contacts, apps and agents, and how much storage. Your wallet is prepaid credit that pays for what you use as you go: AI, phone calls and texts, emails, research, and the cloud computers your agents run on.

Plans

PlanMonthlyYearly
Free$0$0
Pro$49$490
Business$99$990

Paying yearly costs ten months instead of twelve.

  • Free: one space, just you. Website, blog, pages and documents, 500 contacts, 3 tables, 3 forms, 1 app, 5 GB of storage and 100 emails a month. AI and compute are paid from your wallet.
  • Pro: 5 spaces with 5 members each, custom domains for sites and mail, selling, 10,000 contacts, unlimited tables, 20 apps, 25 GB and 2,000 emails a month, plus campaigns, banking and ads.
  • Business: unlimited spaces, members, apps, agents and contacts, 50 GB and 10,000 emails a month, more mailboxes and larger meetings.

Change your plan from Billing & Balance in your account menu.

Renewals. A paid plan renews from your wallet balance first. With Card backup for renewals switched on, anything the balance cannot cover is charged to your saved card. Add a card so renewals never fail.

The wallet

Your wallet is in US dollars. Press Add Funds to put money in. Set up Auto top-up to charge your saved card automatically when the balance runs low, so agents and automations never stop mid-task.

How usage is charged. Every paid action is charged to the wallet when it happens, with a line saying what it was and where it came from: which space, app, page or agent. Your assistant's usage is charged to your own wallet. An agent's thinking and the time its cloud computer is awake are charged to the wallet of the space the agent belongs to. When there is not enough money for an action, it is refused with a message to add funds.

Space budgets

You can set money aside for a space so you can see and limit what each business spends. From your wallet, press Allocate funds and pick the space. That amount is Reserved for spaces; the rest is Free to allocate. You can return unspent budget to your wallet at any time.

Several people can fund the same space. Each charge is paid in full by one of them who has enough room, preferring the person who took the action. A single charge is never split across wallets.

For each space you can open Auto top-up & spending caps and set:

  • an auto top-up that refills the space's budget when it runs low, and
  • Spending caps per day, week or month.

When a space reaches its budget or a cap, new charges are blocked until you raise it.

Seeing where money goes

Each space has a Space Wallet page with Overview, Trends, By Agent, By Model, By Task, Limits and Transactions, all read from the same record of charges.

Agents and spending

Every agent can have its own spending cap per day, week or month, set on its page by the people who run it. Before each paid call, Wakato checks the cap. When an agent reaches it, the agent stops paid work, a line appears in its chat with a way to raise the cap, and the space's owner and admins are notified once. The space's own caps still apply on top. See Costs and limits.

A task in progress is never cut off

If an agent is in the middle of a task on its cloud computer, the computer is not shut down because a limit was reached. Limits apply to the next start.

Buying on the phone

In the Wakato phone app, credit and plans are bought through the App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android. Credit bought there lands in the same wallet. A plan bought in the app renews through Apple or Google, so you change or cancel it in your phone's subscription settings, not on the web.
