Use Wakato in Claude and ChatGPTyour business, inside the AI app you already use.
Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI app to your Wakato account with a sign-in, choose which spaces it may work in and what it may do, and disconnect it any time.
You can ask Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps to work in Wakato for you: look up a contact, add rows to a table, draft a post, check today's orders. The app signs in to Wakato with your permission. There is no key to copy.
Do it: connect Claude
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Name it Wakato and paste
https://mcp.wakato.io/mcp. Click Add, then Connect. - A Wakato page opens. Choose Your whole account or Only the spaces I pick, then what it may do: everything it asked for, read only, or area by area.
- Click Allow. You are taken back to Claude.
In a new chat, ask something like "Using Wakato, list my spaces."
ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and other AI apps that support MCP connectors use the same address. Setup for each is in Connect AI apps.
What it can do
It works only where you allowed it, with what you allowed. Paid actions it runs, like AI or searches, come from the wallet of the space it works in and are labelled with the app's name, so you can see what it cost.
It never sees your Wakato password, cannot pay money out, and cannot delete a space or your account. Sending emails, texts or meeting invitations on your behalf is not available to outside apps yet: do those in Wakato, or ask your Wakato assistant.
Change it or disconnect it
Backstage → Connected apps lists every app you connected. Open Details to see what it may do, Change what it may do to narrow or widen it, or Disconnect to stop it at once. If you run a space, its Settings → Apps tab shows every app connected to that space, whoever connected it.
Questions
Do I need a paid Claude or ChatGPT plan? Usually, yes: custom connectors are part of their paid plans. The Wakato side works on every plan.
Can I connect only one space? Yes. Choose Only the spaces I pick and pick one.
I connected again and it replaced the old connection. That is on purpose: one app has one connection to your account, so choosing again updates it.
